Metadata lens info from PEF image

Posting rules: It shouldn't need saying, but... play nice. Please keep your discussions civil. You can disagree, just don't be disagreeable. And, of course, all of the usual stuff like no spamming. Tex adds: I'll be rigorously enforcing this as we go along. We're probably going to be a small community in a little lifeboat, so we can't have members at each others' throats. This is for the sake of the project as a whole. So when you post, pretend you're speaking in person with your very wealthy auntie who has always treated you wonderfully and currently lists you prominently in her will. I won't be tossing anyone out of the forums because we are all in this together (except spammers: immediate membership cancelation), but I'll delete suspect posts right away.

Metadata lens info from PEF image

My old Pentax camera produces PEF images that I usually convert to DNG (with Adobe DNG converter).

When I am browsing images with Lightzone and click the DNG version, I can see the lens that I used and the focal length at the time of the picture in the "metadata" column at the right.

But when I click the original PEF file, the lens information is missing and the focal length is off by a factor 10, like this:

DNG:

Edit size: 3040 x 2024
Version size:
Exposure: 1/8 sec at f/5.6
Focal length: 55.0mm
ISO: 200
Flash: flash did not fire, compulsor...
Capture time: 15-mei-2013 20:14:40
Camera: PENTAX K100D SUPER
Lens: 18.0-55.0mm F3.5-5.6

PEF:

Edit size: 3008 x 2008
Version size:
Exposure: 1/8 sec at f/5.6
Focal length: 550.0mm
ISO: 200
Flash: flash did not fire, compulsor...
Capture time: 15-mei-2013 20:14:40
Camera: PENTAX K100D SUPER

I am not sure whether this is even important, and perhaps it is a bug that was present in earlier versions of Lightzone as well. In which case I suppose I should make an "issue" in the issue tracker. I can provide screenshots, raw image files etc. if someone wants to look into it.

Hello Olav,

Hello Olav,
it would be great if you could provide details, screenshot and sample RAW file. Feel free to create an issue at https://github.com/Aries85/LightZone/issues If you need an accoutn there and do nto want ot create one, you can post details here with link to an image.

It is good for us to know about all problems in LightZone. Not all issues will be fixed in current release, but we want to have LightZone polished, fast, and with as little bugs as possible. :)

focal lenght off by factor 10

I have just installed yesterday and play around a bit - I'm quite impressed already and it seems worth the while to learn and invest time in lightzone. One of the first things I noticed browsing my Raw folders was the fact that the focal lenght of my PEF images (I'm using a Pentax K5II) is off by a factor of 10. Now, this thread is quite old already - is there a solution by now?
