For Masahiro: problems with Dutch translation

Posting rules: It shouldn't need saying, but... play nice. Please keep your discussions civil. You can disagree, just don't be disagreeable. And, of course, all of the usual stuff like no spamming. Tex adds: I'll be rigorously enforcing this as we go along. We're probably going to be a small community in a little lifeboat, so we can't have members at each others' throats. This is for the sake of the project as a whole. So when you post, pretend you're speaking in person with your very wealthy auntie who has always treated you wonderfully and currently lists you prominently in her will. I won't be tossing anyone out of the forums because we are all in this together (except spammers: immediate membership cancelation), but I'll delete suspect posts right away.

For Masahiro: problems with Dutch translation

Dear Masahiro,

I have embarked on the journey to translate Lightzone to Dutch. I've followed the instructions you've put on Github.

However, this works sometimes, sometimes not. Today (Dec. 4th) i tried to download the team project and received the error message: "Error checking out the project from remote repository: org.eclipse.jgit.api.errors.InvalidRemoteException: Invalid Remote: origin". Do you know what is happening?

Also, i frequently get the error when opening the java webstart for OmegaT that the certificate is not valid. Do you know how to handle this?

Dear Hans,

Dear Hans,

Sorry for the late reply.

  1. You don't need to download the remote team project everytime. Just open the existing project on your local machine. To do so, click "Project" > "Open", then select "LightZone-l10n-nl/" folder and click "OK".
  2. In case the java webstart is not stable, you can use download version of OmegaT.

Dear Masahiro,

Thanks for your reply!

I knew i don't have to download each time, thanks for the confirmation.

I will give the download version a try, so i can finish the translation. I'll update you once done.

Is the dutch translation

Is the dutch translation almost ready?

I am looking forward to it! :)

Yes, sort of

I have translated all of the application text to Dutch. I did start, but not complete, the help text.

I did report this to Masahiro in another post, i hope he read it. I don't know how we could try the Dutch version, btw.

Re: Dutch translation

The dutch translation is only for a small part implemented in beta 14..

Only under blending modes everything is translated.

There you read "normaal, bleken doordrukken enz.".

Further not implemented in the user interface.

I'm using the version for windows 7 64 bit.

Kind regards,

Henk Tijdink

OK, that's not the total

That wouldn't be the total translation. I did work in the team project all the time, so maybe Masahiro included a part of it. I did finish well after beta14 did, however.

Let's wait what Masahiro says.
