LZ webpage access problem - Update 2

Posting rules: It shouldn't need saying, but... play nice. Please keep your discussions civil. You can disagree, just don't be disagreeable. And, of course, all of the usual stuff like no spamming. Tex adds: I'll be rigorously enforcing this as we go along. We're probably going to be a small community in a little lifeboat, so we can't have members at each others' throats. This is for the sake of the project as a whole. So when you post, pretend you're speaking in person with your very wealthy auntie who has always treated you wonderfully and currently lists you prominently in her will. I won't be tossing anyone out of the forums because we are all in this together (except spammers: immediate membership cancelation), but I'll delete suspect posts right away.

LZ webpage access problem - Update 2

For the last few days I have not been able to get into lightzoneproject.org. It may be a problem with OSx 10.10.1 as it was about the time that I ugraded from 10.10 to 10.10.1. I have tried Safari many times and I have just tried a completely new install of FireFox (no history or anything else). Neither allow me to get into the LZ website. All I see is a message that says an Error 503, Temporarily Unavailable has occured. I have managed to get in to post this by using the Tor network and browser. I tried http://www.websitedown.info/ (using Safari and that says that the LZ website is down ! (Obviously it isn't as i can get in using Tor and its browser.) Is it me ? Have I annoyed someone ? If any of these is true please email me as I don't know what I have done to be ostracised. Or. is there a problem with the latest OSx ? Help please.

Update 1

I have just tried to respond to a reply to a post of mine in the General forum. My reply seems to have been accepted but only after many minutes of waiting for a response from the LZ website.

However when I tried to return to the previous page I got a message saying that my IP addrress had been black-listed ??? I was and still am having to use Tor to get to the LZ website. Maybe its Tor that is causing the IP address black listing (I hope that its not me).

for info :-

I am still having problems accessing the LZ website using OSx 10.10.1 and Safari or Firefox.

As mentioned above the http://www.websitedown.info/ website still thinks that the LZ website is down and gives an explanation which contains the following text "Unfortunately we did not receive a 200 OK HTTP status code as a response. This means that the website is currently unavailable and down for everybody (not just you) or you have entered an invalid domain name for this query. Possibly the lightzoneproject.org web server is down, overloaded, unreachable (network problem), or a website or server maintenance is in progress right now."

Hope this helps

Update 2

I have managed to get my IP address changed an now do not seem to have any problem getting into the LightZone website.

I still don't know why my old IP address should have been blacklisted so once more I express my appologies and regrets at having annoyed someone.

If person(s) that I have upset would let me know what I've done I will send them a personal appology

LZ blocks ip addresses?

Malcom, thanks for sharing your problems.

This is probably related to why I don't get any updates from the rss feed in my news aggregator Feedly.

Feedly replied to me that they seem to be blocked from accessing the LZ site, and can therefore not update the LZ rss feed for the people subscribing to it.

Giving up on 74.125.129.26.

main problem I had was attempting to download the software, but running into a issue with the below command (running as root) I am attempting to download suse 12.3 note that I am running 13.1 (Bottle)

rpmkeys --import http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/ktgw0316:/LightZone/open...

returns:
curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found
error: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/ktgw0316:/LightZone/open... import read failed(2).LightZone

So I went to the forums and tried to post about this issue but got the below error, I did clear cache and reboot, as I said I am running on Linnux suse 12.3
