Latest Lightzone for Mac not starting with ElCaptain

Posting rules: It shouldn't need saying, but... play nice. Please keep your discussions civil. You can disagree, just don't be disagreeable. And, of course, all of the usual stuff like no spamming. Tex adds: I'll be rigorously enforcing this as we go along. We're probably going to be a small community in a little lifeboat, so we can't have members at each others' throats. This is for the sake of the project as a whole. So when you post, pretend you're speaking in person with your very wealthy auntie who has always treated you wonderfully and currently lists you prominently in her will. I won't be tossing anyone out of the forums because we are all in this together (except spammers: immediate membership cancelation), but I'll delete suspect posts right away.

Latest Lightzone for Mac not starting with ElCaptain

Just downloaded newest Lightzone for ElCaptain. It did not start but gave 3 errors:

1st: Couldn´t link with "CDRaw

2nd: Couldn´t link with "FASTJAI

3rd: Couldn´t link with "fdb

Lightzone Crash Tool did not work because it was trying "safe mode".

It would be great to get some help.

Thanks for the good work for that programm! Version 4.1.5 worked flawlessly for me like the Linux-versions of Lightzone.

Yours sincerely, Madicineman

Same here

I have the same 3 errors, El Capitan is my version of OSX and I downloaded LZ 4.1.6 ElCapitan. I have used the Linux version in the past with no issues, I hope this is a fixable issue, I really like Lightzone!

Might help. You will also find you'll need Java 6 (legacy version). Tell me how you get on - there may be a few other issues.

Issue solved

Thanks for your help, Biff!

Downloading of "libiomp5.dylib" (from https://github.com/ktgw0316/LightZone/blob/master/macosx/lib/x86_64/libi...) to

"/Applications/LightZone.app/Contents/Resources/Java/"  was the solution! Thank you very much!
